Gotta love a Sunday steak n eggs brunch

A train climbs spiraling crennelated crags while tumultuous tubery traces a path down creek and the every where whispers of breezes cool the Hot Springers under the box elder and oak shade. This bar has plenty of space to be aloof, although warm hearted patrons here so proud of their town will invite you unto their table.

Nice bartender. Karaoke night. Didnt eat bit dinner specials looked great. Friendly people

The bartenders are like children and took an average of 12 min just to get a single bottle of beer when there wasn't any other customers standing near me. They had to look up on a phone how to make well known drinks such as a AMF or Irish car bombs. I get better service in big city bars that are at maximum capacity and less waiting times. Bathroom was out of toilet paper and bartender threw a toilet paper roll at my friend instead of it getting changed out.Only good aspect is that it's a small town bar feel and the better of the two bars in town.

Friendly staff, good service ok prices. The only down fall was the bartender did not know how to make a vodka Collins, which is a fairly common drink.

Great atmosphere, food, and drinks! Our bartender was amazing and very friendly! Plus... mondays are manly Monday.... free pool and $1 drafts! We will be back, no doubt!

Great local spot. Stopped in for some drinks and food. The prices on whiskey were great and the bartender was appropriately attentive. They had a happy hour special for 2 huge tacos & a margarita combo for like $5! Played some pool. Listened to country music and there was karaoke. Definitely recommend.

They allow smoking in this bar so it was very stinky, I was consumed by cigarette smell. The bartender was nice but it wasnt my kind of place.

It's like the Wesley's tent in there! It looks all small and unassuming, but is huge! Pretty nice too, fast attentive bar tenders and servers. The food is good, we had the sampler platter, they do it well, good seasoning.They had a live band called "The Whiskey Hangovers" and they were engaging, energetic entertainers. The seating was good for parties, and they were very clean. Lots of choices of where to be, and types of music to listen to.

They tried to charge me for someone else’s drink, and the bartender was very rude about it when I said I wasn’t going to pay for someone I wasn’t with. Also, make sure you keep your receipt. They have now overcharged me for more than I signed for. I have tried calling, and no one will call me back. At this point, I’m going to have to dispute it with my bank. I won’t be going back. Side note: the cigarette smoke is really bad here.

Super fun bar. Music and dancing. The red lounge is also pretty incredible and not what you expect to see in Lava. Bartenders are quick and service is great!

The Blue Moon bar and grill is set up for one thing only. For you to have fun and get a drink. if you are looking for fancy cocktails or high end gastropub fair, look elsewhere. But in Lava Hot springs you're not going to find that stuff anyway. Seriously it's still the best bar in town. They go out of their way to entertain you and have a totally authentic cowboy atmosphere.

Good drinks and good food, service could be a bit faster

We stopped here to get some takeout after a long day driving to Lava Hot Springs and enjoying the hot pots, and it was really good! The fries weren’t the greatest, but the onions and the burgers were very good. The environment was fun while waiting for our food and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Was there over the weekend. Read the reviews before I went so did not expect much but I will say this the reviews are not even close to the experience me and my wife had. The service was excellent we had 2 waitresses from the minute we sat down. The food was really good and the staff was great very friendly and one waitress was willing to sit and talk to my wife and I. I highly recommend this place.

Small town bar with pool, typical yet, tasty bar food and often features live music. Would give 5 stars but the smoking inside the bar is a big downside.

First time my husband and I visited this place and we are glad were did. Very nice, great food, great staff and great atmosphere..

Great if you're a local or looking for the local experience! That is other patrons blowing their cigarette smoke onto your food from the next table over, 30 minute wait for fish and chips (fried food shouldn't take that long), and bartenders incapable of driving much less serving!

Such a fun bar! Amazing staff and the people of lava are amazing with puttin up with tourists! Great music, fun karaoke, and beautiful backyard area and fun games to play!

Great if you want to get hammered drunk and dance! Not the cleanest place though. But they do a good job of keeping the place interesting

Stopped in here after a soak on a quiet winter day. The beer was great, the bartender was polite and experienced, and the locals were friendly. Karaoke was on and everyone did a song. Good spot

Not really my cup of tea but I'm older.. was nice though only complaint is they told us 2 hours for an order of nachos i really don't get that

We were a party of five on a Saturday at 4. Super slow time... The one waitress took thirty minutes to get our drinks and we had to ask for a food menu. Even though it was early,the cigarette smoke was awful. We ended up going somewhere else

Standard bar food, and one of the few places for late night dining.... Just prepare for the smoke!

This is the "IT" place in Lava Hot Springs. Great food and great entertainment. Be there or be talked about.

Great small town bar. Every March we come here and get a bacon cheeseburger, homemade fries and pitcher of beer. And every year we are not disappointed! Delicious

No more minors ....stupid laws. Just wanted a burger with the kids. Use to allow minors before 9.00 if I recall. This use to be my hangout when I was like 13. Back then my friends and I could play foosball and pool until closing.
